ST THERESA INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE’S AMERICAN UNIVERSITY PROGRAM (AUP)

American colleges and universities that have agreements under the American University Program (AUP) will allow students to study all or part of their academic programs in Thailand at St Theresa International College. Upon completion, the student will receive dual Bachelor’s degrees from St Theresa International College and from the American institution.

FULL AMERICAN DEGREE PROGRAM

St Theresa International College has entered into an agreement with Troy University, located in the town of Troy, Alabama, to deliver a Program leading to the Associate Degree and the Bachelor of Science Degrees awards by Troy University in three majors as follows:

- Information Systems

- Marketing

- International Business

Qualified students accepted into the Program will complete a minimum of 138 credits to be awarded at St Theresa International College. Students entering the Program will be counseled on their study plans so that they will choose the right combination of courses for the major that they will be taking.

The AUP runs on a semester system. A normal semester is 16 weeks (15 weeks of teaching and 1 week of examinations).

AMERICAN DEGREE TRANSFER PROGRAM

Students may also choose to do part of the AUP at St. Theresa International College and complete their Bachelor’s degree in the USA. Students can choose from one of 37 U.S. universities that have signed agreements to accept St. Theresa International College AUP credits and allow students to complete the final one or two years of various Bachelor’s degrees in America.

Accreditation

A Bachelor of Science in International Business, Information Systems and marketing Programs are fully accredited by the Higher Education Commission in Thailand and the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in USA.

CURRICULUM STRUCTURE

The following pages contain information and guidelines on the selection of courses for different academic concentrations.

Students of all academic concentrations are required to take a certain number of courses under the General Education requirements. These courses encompass basic areas such as History, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Humanities and Fine Arts, Languages, Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Students doing the American Transfer Degree Programme should note that each U.S. university establishes its own General Education requirements for the different majors it offers. As a result, the number of courses varies from university to university and from major to major.

The Curriculum consists of three groups: the General Education Requirements, Major Requirements and Free Electives. They are as follows:
