    Message from the Dean

jitrapunAs a fully accredited higher educational institute, by Thailand’s Ministry of Education, the Faculty of Public Health is committed to shaping students to become esteemed public health specialists. Through extensive training, advanced research, and benevolent public service activities, we strive to give students a solid understanding of how diseases and injuries can be mitigated from our communities.

Our mission to preserve the cultural aspects of health has influenced our students and faculty to collaborate in the delivery of distinguished community services.

We believe that “in order to effectively and efficiently improve the health of individuals, families, communities, and society, we must transform them to be self-reliant and provide them with a sustainable health care system”. Therefore, it is important that we arm the next generation of public health leaders with knowledge in preventative medicine, together with communicative skills in foreign languages, to be used as tools for preparing both local and international communities in defending against disease epidemics and environmental hazards.

Our primary focus for solving the health issues of society is on improving the health sustainability of the population. We investigate every aspect of social, economic and environmental factors that are affecting the global community today and have brought together some of the best minds in public health for discovering efficient solutions.

We are glad that your interest in public health has brought you to our website. This is an exciting time for the Faculty of Public Health–a time of expansion and discovery, and so we hope you will join us in our efforts to achieve optimal health for communities throughout the globe.

    Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jittapun Pusapukdeepob
    Dean, Faculty of Public Health
