    MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

    Theresa Virachanee Phromsuntorn, Vice Chairman of St Teresa International University (STIC) Council, Bangkok, Thailand signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Dr Vincente K. Fabella, President of Jose Rizal University from Mandaluyong, Philippines to expand international opportunities, strengthen cultural ties and broaden their students’ and staff ’ experiences.

    President Dr Vincente led the Filipino delegation which included Dr Henry Magat, Dean of Liberal Arts, Criminology and Education, Dr Leodegario David, Dean of Business Administration and Accounting, Dr Eleonor Tangkeko, Dean of College of Nursing, Liza Reyes, Dean of Technological Studies, Mr Dexter Antiporda, Dean of College of Hotel and Restaurant Management and Tourism, and Mr Mendelson Quiba, Director of Guidance and Testing Office, meet with the STIC management team led by Dr Theresa Virachanee Phromsuntorn.

    Both sides also hereby affirmed their willingness to pursue an academic collaboration during the MoA signing ceremony held between them on July 3, 2015 at Maria Therese Meeting Room, STIC. The two universities will cover, but is not limited to: development and delivery of an innovative EXCHANGE PROGRAM for students, exchange of teaching and research materials and publications, exchange of faculty and other staff members for enrichment and advancement, exchange of students for immersion and advancement, joint research and joint organization/conduct of conferences and other academic meetings.

    This MoA will remain valid for 3 years and shall be automatically renewed for an additional two years unless either party expresses the desire to terminate the MoA. This MoA to promote academic collaboration is subject to revision, renewal or cancellation by mutual consent, and becomes effective upon completion of signature.
