    The objectives of the curriculum are to produce doctoral graduates with the following key competencies:

    • Foundation courses are intended to build a foundation of knowledge for students holding a Master's Degree in Educational Administration who completed less than 12 credits hours of research or for students with a Master's degree in Education but not majored in Educational Administration or for a student holding Master's Degree in fields other than Education. The required coursework for the above-mentioned students is 1-3 non-credit courses.

    Before You Apply

    The qualifications for applicants are as follows:

    Plan A : Complete a Dissertation to generate new knowledge in educational administration (48 credits hours):

    • a Master’s Degree graduate (Plan A) in the field of Educational Administration, and
    • has professional experience in Educational Administration as the head of department or above. Published at least 1 quality certified research (other than the required Thesis as the fulfillment of the Master Degree) in a national or international journal or received official approval for publication of the research proposal from an academic review meeting; and
    • exhibits good proficiency of English for communication; and
    • meets any other additional key qualification criteria per each academic year announced by the college Program Committee per the approval of St. Theresa International College Academic Council

    Plan B : Complete a minimum of 12 credits hours of coursework plus completion of a high-quality Dissertation (36 credits hours) totalling at least 48 credits hours.

    • A Master Degree graduate; or
    • Currently completing or formerly in a Doctoral degree program in an institution from which St.Theresa International College Academic Council agrees to accept credits transfer. The transfer must be in compliance with St. Theresa International College regulations on graduate studies 2016; and
    • exhibits good proficiency of English for communication; and
    • meets any other additional key qualification criteria per each academic year announced by the college Program Committee per the approval of St. Theresa International College Academic Council

    Plan C : For securing a professional teaching license for educational institution administrator – complete coursework and practicum (a minimum of 24 credits hours) and complete a high-quality Dissertation (36 credits hours), totaling at least 60 credits hours.

    • A Master Degree graduate; or
    • Currently completing or formerly in a Doctoral degree program in an institution from which St.Theresa International College Academic Council agrees to accept credits transfer. The transfer must be in compliance with St. Theresa International College regulations on graduate studies 2016; and
    • exhibits good proficiency of English for communication; and
    • meets any other additional key qualification criteria per each academic year announced by the college Program Committee per the approval of St. Theresa International College Academic Council

    Approved applicants enrolling in Plan B or Plan C, holding a Master’s degree in Educational Administration (Plan B) but completing less than 12 credit hours of the thesis must register for an additional Foundation of Research course.

    Approved applicants holding a Master’s degree in Education with majors other than Educational Administration must register for an additional Foundation of Educational Administration course.

    Approved applicants holding Master’s degree in fields other than Education must register for an additional Foundation of Education course and the Foundation of Educational Administration course.

    The foundation courses are non-credit hours courses.
