ผลการดำเนินงาน
ภายใต้พันธกิจ ทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรมและความเป็นไทย คณะได้ตรวจสอบผลการดำเนินงานปี 2562 พบว่า ได้คะแนนประเมินคุณภาพระดับ 5 ดีมาก จึงกำหนดค่าเป้าหมายที่จะรักษาระดับคุณภาพการดำเนินงานให้เท่าเดิมหรือมีคุณภาพที่เป็นรูปธรรมมากขึ้น ในการนี้ จึงได้ดำเนินการพัฒนาที่ปรากฏผลการปฏิบัติที่สำคัญๆ ดังต่อไปนี้
1. คณะมอบหมายให้รองคณะบดีฝ่ายบริหารงานทั่วไปและผู้ช่วยคณบดีด้านกิจการนักศึกษาเป็นผู้ร่วมรับผิดชอบหลักในงานด้านนี้ เพื่อนำนโยบาย “การทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม ประวัติศาสตร์และความเป็นไทย” ของสถาบันและคณะ ไปสู่การปฏิบัติ โดยในการนี้ คณะได้จัดทำโครงการที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อรองรับ ที่สำคัญ 2 โครงการ คือ

2. คณะได้ดำเนินงานตามโครงการดังกล่าวข้างต้น ด้วยกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ เช่น การส่งเสริมให้บุคลากรไปร่วมในกิจกรรมสำคัญทางศาสนาและวัฒนธรรม ร่วมกิจกรรมทางวัฒนธรรมที่จัดขึ้นทั้งในวิทยาลัยอและในชุมชน การชี้แนะให้คณะจารย์ที่สอนวิชาพื้นฐานทำการวิจัยเรื่องการใช้สารเคมีในแปลงผัก ผลไม้ หรือร้านขายต้นไม้ การร่วมมือกับบโรงเรียน 3 โรง จัดทำโครงการพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษา ที่เน้น “การศึกษาเพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิต” อย่างต่อเนื่องระหว่างปี 2562-2563 ส่งเสริมให้โรงเรียนสำรวจและพัฒนาแหล่งเรียนรู้และภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น นำมาใช้สอนนักเรียน การส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนเป็นนักอ่านและเป็นลูกที่ดีของพ่อแม่ เช่น การรับผิดชอบงานบ้าน การดูแลผู้สูงอายุในครอบครัว(ไปเป็นเพื่อปู้ ย่า ตายาย ไปร่วมทำบุญในวันพระหรือวันสำคัญทางศาสนา) การศึกษาวิถีชีวิต อาชีพ พ่อแม่ และวิเคราะห์ความเสี่ยงอาชีพของครอบครัว เป็นต้น(เน้น แนวคิด การจัดการศึกษาเพื่อการมีงานทำ) เป็นต้น
3. คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ได้ประกาศจุดเน้นที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ประการหนึ่งของวิทยาลัย คือ “จัดการศึกษาด้วยมาตรฐานสากล บนพื้นฐานความเป็นไทย” ที่เน้นเรื่องมารยาท และวิถีไทยในการดำเนินชีวิตในวิทยาลัย และให้ความสำคัญกับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบบูรณาการ ที่เน้นการบูรณาการด้านศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม หรือความเป็นไทยผ่านรายวิชาต่าง ๆ เช่น วิชา ภาษาและวัฒนธรรมสำหรับครู(ในหลักสูตรระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา) ได้จัดกิจกรรม อภิปรายแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมระหว่างนักศึกษานานาชาติ การศึกษา ค้นคว้า วิจัย และมอบหมายงานให้ศึกษาด้านวัฒนธรรมไทยในรายวิชา มนุษย์กับสังคม”(วิชาพื้นฐาน ในระดับปริญญาตรี) รวมทั้งให้นักศึกษาและคณาจารย์ ร่วมกิจกรรมในสันสำคัญ ๆ ทางประเพณีไทย อาทิ วันสงกรานต์ วันลอยกระทง เป็นต้น
4. คณะมีเครือข่ายความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานต่างๆ เช่น เครือข่ายห้องสมุดชุมชนอำเภอองครักษ์ ในการศึกษาและแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ด้านสิลปะ วัฒนธรรม และวิถีไทย อย่างต่อเนื่อง ร่วมมือกับเครือข่ายโรงเรียนกลุ่มที่ 2 ของ สพป.นครนายก(7 โรงเรียน) เพื่อร่วมกันศึกษาและพัฒนาตามแนวคิด “การจัดการศึกษาเพื่อความผาสุก(Education for Well-being)” ในปีการศึกษา 2563-2564 ที่เน้นให้นักเรียนอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม การเรียนรู้เพื่อการมีงานทำ(ร่วมทำงานการอาชีพกับพ่อแม่) และ การอยู่ร่วมในสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม-เคารพความแตกต่าง
5. คณะมีการกำกับ ติดตาม ผลการดำเนินการตามแผนของโครงการทั้งสอง ดังกล่าวข้างต้น สำหรับการทำงานกับเครือข่าย มีการประชุม ปรึกษาหารือ ทั้งในระบบออนไลน์ และเยี่ยมสถานศึกษา ทั้งนี้ ในสินปีงบประมาณ 2563(ก.ย.63) ได้มีการนำผลการประเมินที่รวบรวมมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ไปนำเสนอในที่ประชุมเครือข่ายภาคตะวันออก ที่มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา ผลการดำเนินงานตามโครงการในข้อ 1 มีส่วนสำคัญทำให้โรงเรียนบ้านช่องตะเคียนได้รับคะแนนผลการประเมินเป็นโรงเรียนต้นแบบด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม ที่เป็น 1 รายการ ในจุดเน้นของการจัดการสึกษาเพื่อความผาสุก ผลการดำเนินงานในปี 2562-2563 ทำให้เห็นแนวทางการส่งเสริมให้มีการพัฒนาด้านศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม หรือภูมิปัญญาไทย ในการนี้ ในปีงบประมาณ 2564 จึงได้เสนอโครงการต่อ สป.อว.เพื่อทำโครงการพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาโดยสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเป็นพี่เลี้ยง ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนงาบประมาณในการทำกิจกรรมหลายรายการ 1 ในจำนวนรายกาจกิจกรรมสำคัญ คือ “กิจกรรมพัฒนาแหล่งเรียนรู้ ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น ด้วยการจัดทำหนังสั้น และพัฒนาเป็นฐานข้อมูลจำแนกตามตำบลเขตที่ตั้งของโรงเรียน โดยความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานศึกษาและหน่วยงานทุกภาคส่วน”(ภายใต้งบประมาณสนับสนุน 408,000 บาท)
