The Bachelor of Business Administration Program often keep track of student graduation and dropout rates. The BBA Program committee has set a desirable target that the dropout rate should not exceed 10%. The results clearly show that the dropout rates of students from the BBA Program. The dropout rate increased in academic year 2019 and 2022. Based on individual interview, most of the students dropped-out from the BBA Program during the first or second semester of the first year since they realized that they preferred to study in other professions and many students were affected financially. The Advisory Team has been established to help students with their problems. This team meet students in assigned class room every week or answer their questions via Facebook page or through Line chat application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

2. Employability, self-employment, and advancement to further studies are established, monitored, and benchmarked for improvement. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The STIC journey for each student who graduated in the college does not end after receiving their degree or certificates. The STIC still has to trace where are the graduates landed particularly the employment aspect. Employment opportunity is a key factor that any student considers when selecting a BBA Program to study. The college has to record and show the employment statistics over the last five academic years, and percentage of employment of comparable program. The record will show that the STIC -BBA graduates are truly getting opportunities and fulfill the skills required by the employers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.<\/strong> Research and creative work output and activities carried out by the academic staff and students are established, monitored, and benchmarked for improvement. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

As per the requirement of our academic programs, all of the students must enroll in research course during their 4 year of the study plan.<\/p>\n

Students\u2019 research projects have to be completed and evaluated within one term.<\/p>\n

At Faculty, normally, before students embark on the projects, lecturers give them guidance on correcting their research topic, literature review, methodology, result analysis and conclusion and presentation of proposals. Much more importantly, Faculty has assigned suitable lecturers to supervise students for guiding and control their research activities for the duration of the research.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the lecturers are also doing quality research work every year with respect to their areas of interest in the BBA’s three different majors. The research is integrated with their teaching subjects to be discussed with the students to give them more advanced knowledge in their field.<\/p>\n

Eight separate research articles were published in Scopus-indexed journals by six of the teachers belonging to the BBA International Business, Logistics, or Tourism and Hospitality majors.<\/p>\n

4. Data are provided to show directly the achievement of the program outcomes, which are established and monitored. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

The BBA program expected outcomes are attainment of the graduates, including mean score of perceived achievement of overall PLOs more than 4.00 of 5.00, average time to graduate is between 4 to 5 years, and percentage of employment is 94.44%.<\/p>\n

The results of the satisfaction of employers towards our student performance show that program expected learning outcomes are achieve. The faculty has conducted employer’s Satisfaction of our students performance at work. The average score of the survey in the three (3) categories is Very Good Satisfaction based on 11 Employers. <\/p>\n

As show in the data below, the assessment results of students learning outcomes in all aspects is higher than 3.51<\/p>\n

Stakeholders satisfactions toward our graduate programs are monitored by many channels and mechanisms depending on the type stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Current Students<\/strong>
Current students have many channels of voicing their dissatisfaction. First of all students have a chance to anonymously evaluate teaching and learning processes of each courses online via MIS platform. Second, they can consult with the major advisor and\/or program head, who can immediately help solve the problem. Third, the Line@ group Forum is a floor for all graduate students within the Faculty to get together and arrange their own activities without intervention of any academic staff. In such forum, general matter regarding the academic program and department in general can be discussed, including unhappiness or dissatisfactions.<\/p>\n

Graduate\/Employers<\/strong>
Employers satisfaction toward our alumni as their employees are continuously surveyed by an assistance from the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Every year, after graduates report to the Faculty of Graduate Studies about their employment information, inquiries to the graduate employers are made after 6 months period of the employment to ask the employers for their contribution on online evaluation. It turns out that very few graduate employers have participated on this evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every alumnus completed his\/her degree is eligible to  voice their satisfaction\/dissatisfaction toward our programs via our official STIC facebook page or through Line@ group forum.<\/p>\n

6. Academic services outcomes \/ providing local and social benefits are shown. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Academic Service means an academic activity or project undertaken to provide services to society\/community. It is an activity\/project that is carried out according to the aptitude in the field that the institute has the expertise to help, develop, and strengthen community\/social sustainability.<\/p>\n

The Faculty of Business Administration innovated their teaching methods to meet the criteria. General academic service organized free of charge<\/strong> by the lecturers:<\/p>\n

Adopt a Shop<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2<\/b>ND<\/b> YEAR IB and LG <\/b>students take part in Volunteering activities which they named as \u201cAdopt a Shop\u201d. The students surveyed and assessed the potential shops\/business owners who need assistance in terms of promoting their products through the use of social media and other platforms. Benefactors of this project are selected ornamental plants growers\/business owners at Khlong 14 and Khlong 15 respectively. This is freely chosen act that is undertaken for the greater good (beyond one’s self and family) and therefore without any expectation of payment. It is a great way to follow up on and supplement subjects that have been covered in the classroom to better understand own competence, leading to more self-confidence and a can-do attitude that can spread to work and academic pursuits. The students continuously monitor the development and improvement of this project and may turn over the responsibilities to their juniors when they cease studying.<\/span><\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> Arts and culture learning outcomes are shown. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

As an educational provider, the STIC ensures that arts and culture are incorporated throughout the teaching and learning process so that students and academic staff adhere to its promotion and preservation. It is essential for the college, particularly the Bachelor of Business administration program, to integrate Thainess in their own unique and appreciated methods. The enrichment of an Arts and Culture preservation in which college\/university teaching staff, students, and audiences may live with the knowledge that their distinct identity will undoubtedly be recorded in history. Allowing workers to develop their brand and integrate Thainess contributes to making teaching and learning more enjoyable and responsible.<\/p>\n

This, in turn, helps our students build their Arts and Culture awareness, which they must carry with them wherever they go throughout their lives.<\/p>\n

All college events are announced in the campus newsletter (STIC OnPoint), Official college Facebook webpage and also over the college website. Some of the activities in which the College Management, Administrators, Lecturers and employees participated were Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Wai Khru Day, and several others events held in college premises to maintain Thai culture. <\/p>\n
