Organizational Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#b4f5db;color:#900606\" class=\"has-text-color has-background\"><strong>(1) Educational Program and Service Offerings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Bachelor of Business Administration in Airline business,<\/li><li>Bachelor of Business Administration (offering 3 specializations: Tourism and Hotel, International business and Logistics management),<\/li><li>Bachelor of Science in Air Traffic Control,<\/li><li>Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics,<\/li><li>Bachelor of Accountancy,<\/li><li>Master of Business Administration (the only PG research program)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><em>1. The BBA in Airline business program<\/em> is considered very important to the success of the Faculty due to a number of reasons as follows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The program used to be able to attract a higher number of students to enroll and potential customers than the other programs because of the nature of career (air hostesses, stewards, ground services) requires good appearance, service minds, personality and English proficiency for the graduates to enter into the career. There are quite a number of successful alumni who are able to get a dream job and are now working in various airline companies. These alumni represent testimonials and endorsement of the BBA in Airline business program.<\/li><li>Some of the administrative and academic staff of the program are former executives or senior managements of Thai Airways International company who are highly respected and trusted by the students as they have industrial connections and are able to find practicum providers or workplaces for the senior students to do a practicum training or so-called cooperative education course in which the students will work for 3 months or an entire 16-week semester as staff trainees in airline, flight or ground service companies.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The mechanisms used to deliver the BBA in Airline business program consist of direct and indirect tuition. Direct tuition is conducted in classrooms using the periodically revised curriculum. There are theoretical and practical or hands-on courses in which the students are taught to understand and apply theoretical concepts to various case study derived from the practical experience of the instructors. Indirect tuition is to be given by supervised practicum in workplaces which are mostly ground and passenger services of the airline companies in Suvarnabhumi or Don Muang Majority of academic faculty and staff members are from India and Philippines and have a good command of English for teaching and learning and research publications. They are flexible and able to teach a variety of courses including business and management, departmental\/specialized, general education and common courses. They can effectively handle teaching loads, student development as well as other academic assignments including research, book keeping and reports for program quality assurance and accreditation.<br><br>3.
