Study Tour to Lebua at State Towers 2020
#นักศึกษา ชั้นปีที่ 3 สาขาวิชาการท่องเที่ยวและการโรงแรม คณะบริหารธุรกิจ วิทยาลัยนานาชาติเซนต์เทเรซา เข้าเยี่ยมชมโรงแรม ระดับ 5 ดาว “เลอบัว แอท สเตท ทาวเวอร์” ถนนสีลม กรุงเทพมหานคร เมื่อวันที่ 5 ธันวาคม 2563 #กิจกรรมนี้ เพื่อเป็นการเสริมการเรียนรู้ ก่อนการออกไปปฏิบัติงานจริง อีกทั้งสถานการณ์ปัจจุบัน โรงแรมต่างๆ ต้องเผชิญกับอุปสรรคมากมาย ทำให้ธุรกิจโรงแรมต้องพิถีพิถันเรื่องความสะอาดมากยิ่งขึ้น เพื่อรับรองนักท่องเที่ยว นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้แบบอย่างที่ดี ในการให้บริการลูกค้าให้รู้สึกปลอดภัยตลอดระยะเวลาที่พักกับโรงแรม นอกจากนี้ ทางโรงแรมยังเปิดให้ชมแผนกทำความสะอาดของโรงแรม ในการฆ่าเชื้อ และการเปลี่ยนเครื่องนอน ในช่วงของการระบาด COVID-19 ด้วยขั้นตอนแบบ New Normal อีกด้วย #ทั้งนี้ นักศึกษาจะสามารถนำความรู้และทักษะทางวิชาชีพที่ได้ ไปใช้กับการทำงานในอนาคตได้
Year 3 Tourism and Hotel students went beyond the traditional classroom for a transformational learning experience. The group visited the luxury 5-star hotel, Lebua at State Towers, on 7 December, 2020, to enhance their learning and increase practical knowledge in the absence of actual work experience. With the current global health crisis, hotels are being challenged in providing a clean haven for tourists, and this study tour activity gave the students a venue to acquire the best practices of keeping guests safe and virus-free during their stay at the hotel. Our students observed the Housekeeping Department and experienced the new normal in cleaning, sanitizing, changing, and handling of linens as part of the new practices amid the pandemic. Our students gained professional knowledge and skills that can be of important use in their future endeavors.
