For AUN-QA, criteria 1 to 9 are assessed at 7 levels.

Performance

1. The physical resources and facilities are sufficient.

Our Airline Business Program in St Theresa International College at the Faculty of Business Administration aims to provide international education quality standards of teaching and learning experiences to our graduate students. In doing so, facilities and infrastructure are allocated sufficiently and efficiently by the Vice-President for Administrative Affairs and by the Faculty of Business Administration. In 2020 the Maintenance Department, Information Technology Department and Purchasing Department had renovated the Airline Business Mock-up Room, installed newly acquired projector and TV Monitor, upgraded Internet WIFI-connectivity,  and kept the AB facilities and equipment  as a dynamic teaching-learning concept. From this result, people who is stakeholder (future students, current students, graduates, academic staff, parents, employers, guests) having the impressive feeling of the continuous improvement in the teaching and student support. In addition to standard teaching facilities and environments, advanced Airline Business equipment is the key facility that allows our students to conduct frontier research. In this criterion, elaboration of resources and infrastructure essential for the operation of our undergraduate programs are presented with utmost innovation..

2. The up-to-date laboratories and equipment are readily available and effectively deployed.

The Airline Business program possesses main 1 workshop and 3 laboratories spaces allocated to all academic staffs to conduct their research, teaching and learning duties. Each laboratory has basic equipment for research, teaching and learning and other educational activities  in the field of conventional services, modern digitalized operations, material management and resources usage. For software in the businesses administration filed that has been provided both of management filed and program filed. The up-to-date and realizable version of software has been used in the classroom and research to get more output enhancement. Every year, the Airline Business program will call the Airline Business representatives‟ demand for the new program or update and consider in the department meeting to get updates on Airline Industry technological needs. 3. A digital library is set-up, up in keeping with progress in information and communication technology.

The Internet access helped a lot in the teaching-learning experiences of the learners and it  is readily made available to all students upon their registration. Within the Faculty of Business Administration particularly Airline Business program , Wi-Fi hotspots are available in most parts of the building especially the classroom areas. Moreover, 10 Gbps local area networks (LAN) are also installed in every, simulation room, laboratories and staffs‟ office to provide high-speed access to the intranet documents. There are also computer workstations available for students and staffs. All technical issues regarding IT facilities are handled by the Information and Technology Office. Should the students need help regrading hardware and software usage, IT staffs are at hands to provide assistance.
At present, STIC, both conduct onsite and online the online classes and STIC website especially on e-learning resources are easily accessed more than official time. Many classes of the program is high flexibly held depend on the user’s available time. Almost classes of the program have created the google class room and Moodle by STIC enhancement. It was satisfied by student and lecturer in the nation-wide and global-wide access class room. The fare of travelling is significantly reducing. Communication in the online class can activate such assignment post, news, information, direct massage activities, open-forum and group message like international university classes. Also, the program has invited the guest lecturer or alumni from overseas for giving the lecture. (Evidence: Digitalized Library with WIFI Connectivity.

4. The information technology systems are set up to meet the needs of staff and students.

The Faculty of Business Administration set up an information technology system as a key instrumental driven organizational-wide improvement in all areas covering teaching and learning, research, academic services and arts and culture preservation as follows: The STIC IT office spends an amount of budget to upgrade the WIFI that covers all the buildings and dormitory in the common area. Students can access the internet for retrieving the articles as needed. From 2020 onwards, IT afforded WIFI with the capability of speed. The WIFI monitoring system is checked by IT staff to maintain the stability of connection in each spot, which increases the number every year. Additionally, online learning is also supported by telephone towers in Building 1, supporting internet connections from known internet service providers.

The STIC supports the IT /database online and electronic book available via the STIC website, the library, and online journals within the college and outside the college. The IT staff is responsible for formulating the emergency plan for the IT system and IT security with one data reserve room for IT protection from disruption or cyberspace attack, which can be controlled through a remote system. Because of IT staff specialist hiring, specialist compensation is offered.

At the program level, many IT systems are provided for students:

  1. The STIC has the main website for students and staff to access necessary information. For the student information system, student resources have been provided on the main page consisting of the internal link of students’ services, which covers dormitory, insurance, academic documents, and external link to libraries and databases. From this site, students can access information about the curriculum and information about staff.
  2.  Management Information System (MIS) is a database for online interaction between students and lecturers and on this site, students can access learning resources such as lecture handouts, and course evaluation forms and lecturers can interact with students through quizzes, presentations, home works and other course requirements.
  3. STIC has an advisor-advisee system for close monitoring of Airline Business students, 5-15 students per teacher, who communicate through LINE. messenger, Google chat and other social media platforms,  Through this system, students with learning difficulties or other problems can be detected and assisted early.

All systems are linked together among students, support staff, and academic staff to transfer or share knowledge and information. For instance, students access the application for graduation announcement through the main website and download and fill out the application form and send the document to an advisor; an advisor can review the qualification of this graduate by accessing this announcement directly before signing.

5. The university provides a highly accessible computer and network to the campus community.

The STIC provided desktop computers at the study center or  library and students can use a computer at the computer area as well. Individual student Username and Password are provided and  used for personal identification before connecting STIC WIFI to ensure that students access useful websites and for security issues. Students and staff can access STIC-WIFI in all areas inside the college. For the college’s dormitory, and common room, ports for the local area networks (LAN) are constructed on every floor. STIC’s internet connection is secure because the identification system and the network are stable. Through this network infrastructure, all faculty can access information about the college easily. For confidential documents, only authorized staff can access with a personal STIC username and password. and all data of accessibility of each ID will be recorded by the IT staffs in college database. The budget for maintaining and upgrading the computer and network infrastructure are under the college budgetary plan.
At the program level, an IT system is used to support students and staff as follows:
1. For the research management system, STIC research project management has been used to monitor the progression of the staff of the research department. In addition, the Research and Development has the software to monitor research progress of staff and students.
2. For the financial support, STIC has a management accounting system for monitoring and managing the college’s entire budget.
3. Student information system is a beneficial system for the teacher to monitor learning outcomes for responsible students for the entire four academic years 2022-2026. 

6. The environmental, health and safety standards are defined and implemented.

Our college strictly observed and implemented protocols when it comes to taking care of individuals inside and outside the vicinity.

  1. Environmental concern, The faculty has provided spacious areas for students to learn or gather for activities. Example, building 1 (Main building)  has a co-working area (mock-up Room/Simulation), which is accessible and common rooms on each floor of the building. All staff are provided with personal computers to support their work. Additionally, the main building  has a coffee shop, which is available 8 hours. There is also various buildings such as a cafeteria including halal food, a copy center, a laundry shop, and a swimming pool. playground, football field and others. In buildings and dormitories, praying room is constructed..
  2. Safety concern, safety systems have been prepared for emergency or disaster events by backup plans for flooding, fire, and power outage. For fire prevention, evacuation fire drill training is practiced every year and all equipment is checked twice a year . In addition, security guards are assigned to safety monitoring for 24 hours at buildings and dormitories. A CCTV was set at every entrance to verify identity.
  3. Health concern, all AB students are under a universal coverage scheme and can access health services at Srinakarinwirot hospital in the primary care unit or specific unit. In case of minor illness, a health center is provided at the college dormitory after official hours from Monday to Friday. Moreover, immunization checks were performed before clinical practice in cooperation with the primary care unit of Srinakarinwirot hospital and all data was recorded and reported to clinical sites. During Covid-19, responsible staff from the faculty coordinated with Nakhon Nayok  provincial public health office and Srinakariwirot hospital to provide Covid-19 vaccines for students and 100% of students and all staff have been vaccinated

Risk management and college continuity plan are set for risk of Covid-19 outbreak assessment by body temperature check spot at the entrance and timeline report. For the business continuity plan, the Faculty is located nearby the unrest area. Faculty have reduced risk by setting up a fingerprint scanning system at every entrance and hiring a security guard for safety monitoring 24 hours. (Evidence: Risk Manag

7. The university provides a physical, social, and psychological environment that is conducive to education, research, and personal well-being.

Safety of individuals inside the campus of STIC is the utmost priority. Both tangible and intangible resources are well-monitored and taken care of to ensure conducive environment and education especially in the teaching-learning processes. 

The college provides the environment for learning encouragement and leisure activities based on safety concerns. The main library of STIC has two air-conditioned floors, CCTV monitored which  provide a variety of learning resources and up-to-date texts and academic journals for all students and college staff. In addition, meeting rooms, audio-visual and study cubicles are available for group work. Furthermore, the research’s room is also arranged for students and lecturers who are having research projects with  learning resources and a spacious area for relaxation and work. Additionally, the coffee/snack shop in the nearby Cafeteria is set for supporting both learning and leisure activities. 

8. The competencies of the support staff rendering services related to facilities are identified to ensure efficient services.

The STIC-FBA set a core competency of support staff as guided by the college in relation to their job description. Each group work has a specific professional competency as shown below:

Every work group has a specific job description and individual competency and job description. As an example, student welfare, which is a subunit of Student development and alumni relations, is responsible for coordinating and allocating scholarships and volunteer activities planning for students. The coordinator of the group work is responsible for monitoring the quality and efficiency of their work. In case of training for specific competencies, staff can register to attend courses or meetings, which are related to their work, and grants are supported by college. The staff of each department should be trained related to their specialty. For example, staffs of student development and alumni relations who work with a supportive vulnerable students committee have to be trained in fundamental psychological management.

Result

 The staff’ performance is evaluated and received an overall very good performance or rated 4.52. They reported the outcome of their responsible job and an assigned committee will assess and give some suggestions for performance improvement. In addition, staff performance in each work group work is reported by student satisfaction and staff satisfaction once a year and staff with excellent performance will be rewarded to encourage their dedication.

9. The quality of the facilities is evaluated and improved.

The satisfaction of each facility is evaluated to measure their service quality every semester by students and staff as show in the table below. The satisfaction survey of each work group is sent to staff annually through paper and e-mail for evaluation of their services. All suggestions are noted and reported to the Faculty of Business Administration for proper management and action.

10. Learning resources are aligned to digital social context.

The STIC learning resources are timely aligned to our client’s need especially during the height of Covid-19 pandemic. The management ensures that everyone has to equip with technological capability and submerge to the digital world wherein teaching and learning took place with resiliency. 11. Unit cost analysis and cost effectiveness of the program/curriculum are performed.

In the Airline Business program through the maintenance and planning of a network system, the College supported and performed the insource process or unit cost analysis and effectiveness of the program curriculum in which IT specialists are employed in the organization.
This helps the department employees or knowledge workers perform their duties separately as business process experts and quality control analysts whereas, IT specialists are responsible for the actual design, implementation and support of the system and collaborate with Budget, Finance and Purchasing committee to support the implementation of the Strategic Priorities of the College in terms of information and technology systems and services, the Information Technology Department has the following plan.
