Student Admission Process
The Faculty of Education seeks to admit students who are not only academically qualified but also passionate about teaching and ready to grow into future educators. We welcome individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to learning, a desire to make a positive impact in the classroom, and the potential to become effective, responsible, and innovative teachers. Our goal is to nurture and prepare these students to meet the demands of the teaching profession in both local and global contexts.
The Faculty is committed to maintaining a transparent, fair, and effective admission process that ensures the selection of qualified and motivated individuals. Our student intake policy, admission criteria, and procedures are clearly defined, publicly communicated, and regularly updated to align with academic and institutional standards.
Applicants must hold a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and successfully pass an interview to be considered for admission. The admissions office carefully reviews all applications to ensure a comprehensive and equitable selection process.
The Admission Process Includes:
- Student Admission Plan: Developed in accordance with the Thai Qualifications Framework (TQF).
- Qualification Determination: The program defines applicant qualifications and communicates them to the faculty/college.
- Selection Criteria: Criteria include academic performance, English language proficiency (if applicable), and other relevant factors.
- Application Announcement: The program, in coordination with the faculty and university, announces the application period.
- Qualification Screening: Applications are reviewed to verify qualifications.
- Student Selection: Candidates are selected based on the established criteria.
- Announcement of Results: The list of selected students is published.
- Evaluation and Improvement: The program reviews the admission process to identify areas for enhancement and ensure alignment with TQF 2.
- Registration: Selected students complete enrollment and officially become university students.
- Readiness Preparation: Before beginning academic studies, students participate in orientation and readiness programs, including an intensive 2-month English course.
- Notification & Attendance: Students are informed about and required to attend the readiness programs.
- Assessment: The effectiveness of readiness programs and student outcomes is evaluated.
- Continuous Improvement & Internationalization: Findings are used to enhance the next academic cycle. Additionally, the program is actively expanding its international reach by recruiting students globally, aligning with our goal of becoming a leading Teacher Education Program.

- Personalized Counselling: Upon enrollment, students are welcomed into a supportive environment where they are assigned a dedicated counselor, ensuring personalized guidance and assistance throughout their academic journey. These counselors serve as a crucial resource, offering support tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether academic, personal, or career-related.
- Academic Support Services. In addition to personalized counseling, students have access to a comprehensive range of academic support services through our NO ED students Left Behind Program. This includes tutoring programs, peer tutorials , and academic workshops aimed at improving study skills, time management, and academic performance. State-of-the-art facilities are also provided to students, enabling them to gain hands-on experience and expertise in the practical aspects of their program.
- Collaboration with the University’s Student Affairs Office: The Faculty collaborates closely with the Office of Student Affairs to develop and implement strategic plans for student support and services. This includes a wide range of extracurricular activities outside the classroom, carefully curated to promote student growth and development. These activities encompass opportunities for leadership development, intercultural exchange, community engagement, and personal enrichment. By participating in these activities, students not only broaden their horizons but also develop essential skills and competencies.

The program has established a comprehensive system to monitor student progress, academic performance, and workload. These aspects are systematically recorded and reviewed to ensure that each student receives timely and effective support. Every student is assigned a dedicated academic advisor who closely monitors their academic journey. Weekly advising sessions are held in designated rooms, providing consistent, structured guidance and support.
Academic Advisor Role
Academic advisors play a pivotal role that goes beyond course planning and registration. They offer holistic support, assisting students in setting academic and career goals, fostering personal development, and clarifying academic policies and program options. Advisors also serve as a primary resource for resolving academic concerns and addressing personal challenges, offering individualized support tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Monitoring Student Progress
To facilitate systematic tracking, the Advisor Manual includes detailed documentation tools such as the Individual Student Problem Record, Student Academic Performance Record, and Advisor Report Summary. These records help advisors monitor progress, identify issues early, and implement timely interventions or feedback to support student success.
Student Portfolios
Each student maintains a personalized portfolio in collaboration with their advisor. These portfolios serve as dynamic, evolving records of academic achievements and personal development. They are actively used during weekly advising sessions to guide reflective discussions, promote student engagement, and support informed decision-making aligned with academic and career objectives.
Program Advising System
The Program Advising System further strengthens the advisor-student relationship by offering personalized mentorship from faculty members with diverse academic backgrounds and professional experience. Through regular one-on-one counseling, advisors assist students in articulating their individual goals, exploring academic options, and navigating university life. The system fosters open communication, encourages academic dialogue, and supports skill development, course planning, and moral and personal growth.
(Three-Way Advising System) Lecturer–Senior Student–Junior Student Advising System
To enhance peer learning and strengthen academic support networks, the program implements a Three-Way Advising System that involves lecturers, senior students, and junior students. In this model, lecturers serve as formal academic advisors while senior students act as peer mentors to junior students. This layered approach provides junior students with both professional guidance and peer-level support. Senior students offer practical insights, share personal experiences, and help juniors adapt to academic and campus life

Through these initiatives, students are not only academically enriched but also empowered to become well-rounded individuals ready to make meaningful contributions to society.
Student Competitions: BEd -English students showcase their skills, knowledge, and talents in various fields such as academics, sports, arts, and entrepreneurship. These competitions encourage healthy competition, creativity, and innovation among students, fostering their personal and academic growth. Students in the program participated and won in several competition, including international competitions, where collaborated and competed with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- World Peace Ethics Contest 2024
- The Faculty of Education students proudly made it to the Top 20 of the prestigious World Peace Ethics Contest 2024! The esteemed contest, which focuses on promoting peace, ethical values, leadership, and cultural understanding, brought together university students from various universities. The awards ceremony took place at the Dhammakaya Foundation on February 12, 2025!
- International Youth Ambassador Camp
- The Faculty of Education students participated in the 15th World Peace International Youth Ambassador Camp 2024, organized by the World Peace Ethics Club. Held from January 17-19, 2025, at the Ing Tawan Seminar Centre in Prachinburi, the camp was participated by more than one hundred students from different universities . Over the three-day event, participants engaged in activities such as meditation, leadership training, and ethics seminars designed to promote moral principles and develop leadership skills. Meditation sessions helped students cultivate mindfulness, while leadership training offered practical tools to enhance their abilities. Ethics seminars explored relevant moral issues, encouraging discussions and fostering a deeper understanding of ethical decision-making.
- International Youth Representatives in Experiencing the SEP – IYSE
- IYSEP is an exchange program, organized by the Royal Thai Government, inviting youths from various countries to participate in diverse activities mainly focusing on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP).
- Stic Summer English Festival Contest
- The Stic Summer English Festival is an exciting and engaging event designed to celebrate the English language while providing students with a dynamic platform to showcase their skills. This vibrant festival is filled with fun activities, interactive learning experiences, and a variety of English contests that motivate students to learn and use English confidently and creatively.
- As part of the festival, several English contests are held to encourage student participation and enhance their language abilities. These contests cater to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to shine. Some of the key contests include:
- Spelling Bee: A fun and challenging competition that tests students’ vocabulary and spelling abilities. Participants compete in rounds, spelling increasingly difficult words until a winner is crowned.
- Speech Contest: Students prepare and deliver speeches on given topics, showcasing their public speaking, pronunciation, and presentation skills.
- Storytelling Competition: Young storytellers get a chance to narrate original or classic stories, building confidence in spoken English and creative expression.
- Essay Writing: This contest encourages students to express their thoughts in writing, helping to improve grammar, structure, and overall written communication.
- Poetry Recitation: Participants recite selected poems or their own compositions, judged on fluency, expression, and interpretation

Supervision, Monitoring, and Evaluation
The curriculum instructor supervises, monitors, and evaluates the performance of the supporting staff throughout the semester. This includes regular observations, feedback from students , and performance assessments to ensure supporting staff to ensure continued relevance to stakeholders needs. At the end of each semester, the program instructor summarizes the evaluation results and submit them to the Dean of the Faculty.
Recruitment and Appointment Process
- Meeting to Determine Supporting Numbers: The program organizes a meeting to assess and determine the number of supporting required in accordance with curriculum standards criteria.
- Specification of Supporting Staff Qualifications: The program specifies the qualifications required for supporting staff rendering services. These qualifications are aligned with the curriculum standards criteria to ensure that all supporting staff possess the necessary expertise and credentials.
- Review and Approval: New selected supporting staff are submitted to the Human Resource Office for checking and reviewing.
- Evaluation of Recruitment and Appointment Processes: The program evaluates the procedures and processes for recruiting and appointing supporting staff rendering services. This evaluation includes assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruitment process and making recommendations for improvement to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
