Indicator 9.1 Educational Management Results (Output and Outcomes)

For criteria 6 and 7, it is assessed using the Office of Permanent Secretary of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovations standards.

For AUN-QA, criteria 1 to 6 are assessed at 7 levels.

Performance

1. The pass rate, dropout rate, and average time to graduate are established, monitored, and benchmarked for improvement.

This graduate Diploma Program always keeps track of learner graduation and dropout rates-Learner in this program can graduate within the time specified in the TQF 2 (3 semesters)

2. Employability, self-employment, and advancement to further studies are established, monitored, and benchmarked for improvement.

Learners in this program are all employed in the school due to one requirement of admission, which is that applicant has to work full-time in school at the time of studying. Practices and internships need to have in school every semester. Therefore there is no need to assess the percentage of Employment.

3. Research and creative work output and activities carried out by the academic staff and students are established, monitored, and benchmarked for improvement.

Every academic staff is required to conduct research each year. The program monitors the research activity of each academic staff annually. All academic staff research needs will be surveyed to set up the research plan of the program. The program encourages all academic staff to conduct research. The academic staff should conduct research at least one research a year.

The research plan of the program will be submitted to the College Planning and Research department prior to the Academic year’s start.

Academe staff can request research funding and publishing fee from the college. The amount budget for the research fund and publishing fund are set up by the College.

4. Data are provided to show directly the achievement of the program outcomes, which are established and monitored.

The program management outcomes and the achievement of the graduates, the achievement at overall learning outcomes are conducted through the survey from the learners, academic staff, and external stakeholders.

5.  Satisfaction levels of the various stakeholders are established, monitored, and benchmarked for improvement.

In every semester, feedback from stakeholders will be collected from practices and internship courses. Then activities are the requirement of the college and Teacher Council of Thailand. The program will monitor the quality of professional teachers among those learners in the school where they teach. The learners have to pass the minimum criteria of the teaching practices and internship.

6. Academic services outcomes / providing local and social benefits are shown.

The program has organized to launch academic services plans for the communities and schools in the Ongkharak district area, such as the U-school project, and the E-PLC project.  All academic staff and learners are invited to participate. All those academic services projects are assessed with a high level of satisfaction.

7. Arts and culture learning outcomes are shown.

The program is also organized to integrate cultural activities into the course. The program will review if any course is able to integrate culture and contents in Education. The cultural preservation plan always goes together with the activities of the academic service.
